With our latest fundraising benefit complete, the AGBU-UN SIG shares the results of your participation!
Working in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the AGBU-United Nations Special Interest Group (SIG) hosted its second benefit reception on June 11, 2009 at the Megerian Rug Gallery New York. The reception raised funds for the UNDP Armenia Vocational Education and Training (VET) Project.
More than eighty guests, including AGBU and UN dignitaries, attended the reception. The AGBU-UN Special Interest Group is proud to help sponsor this beneficial program and thanks to your support, the AGBU-UN SIG raised approximately $4,000, which will cover tuition debts of 20 high-achieving students at Gyumri State Technical College.
The committee would like to thank all those who took a part in making this fundraiser a success!
